How to Make Your Own Designer Jeans
Would you like own a pair of designer jeans but can’t afford to pay designer prices? Follow these instructions to make your own pair of jeans if the jeans are stylishly ripped or faded. Buy a pair of inexpensive new jeans or use a pair that you already own. Find the direction of the lines in the denim fabric, and rub a knife back and forth in the opposite direction. You can also use a cheese grate or nail file. Keep rubbing until white therads appear. You want the white threads to stay there, so don't cut them. Dip an old toothbrush into bleach, and run the old toothbrush around the edges of the back pockets and over the belt loops. Mix a little bleach with water in a spray bottle, and spray the thighs and seat of the jeans. Rub sandpaper on the hems of the legs to fray then, and rip one corner of a back pocket. After wash and dry the jeans several times, your new jeans will look stylishly old!
